Help the Juarez Dogs
GPA's goal is to raise $20,000 to cover the expense of caring for and transporting the Juarez greyhounds to adoption groups. We need your help.
Help the Galgos
GPA/Northern Virginia has been busy sending supplies to
Dr. Stack for the Galgos dogs in Spain for the last several years. Most
recently we sent 60 coats and other supplies for the benefit of the
Galgos dogs. The coats that were sent were graciously made by a Mom
and a Dad, who are parents of members of our group. Both of them are
retired and a greyt deal of their time is spent sewing dog coats for
the Galgos greyhounds. (How ironic that we have "human retirees" making
dog coats for "greyhound retirees"!!) This is now a passion for this
"sewing circle" and they have a goal of making 100 coats for 2003!!!!
We know that many of you would like to help with the situation
in Spain and might not know how you can do that. So, GPA/NoVA would
like to give all of you an opportunity to make a donation. The
Galgos greyhounds are in desperate need of muzzles and coats to keep
them safe and warm. By clicking on the link below, you can donate
to our fund for helping these wonderful dogs. Muzzles and coats
cost $7.00 each, so every dollar donated is important These donations
are fully tax deductible and all money gathered goes directly towards
helping the Galgos.
