Board of Directors

PRESIDENT
Gay LaNasa
gay@gpa-nova.org
Gay adopted her first greyhound, WYLDE GUY, "GUY", in 1992. (He was anything but wild!) She has been an active volunteer with GPA-NoVA since 1999. When Guy went to the bridge, Chelby and Governor came into her life. She has served on the board since 2004. In addition to volunteering for GPA-NoVA, she works as a part-time bartender for Foxfire Grill.

VICE-PRESIDENT
Angela Kummel
angela_kummel@fnma.com

Angela began attending GPA-NoVA events in 1999 and was blessed with Brady in 2000. Brady was a 'rehome' who raced in Tampa and now shares his digs with a Bichon Frise, many cats, birds, and chinchillas. Angela and the brood live in Reston and enjoy walking the paths and traveling to various GPA-NoVA events representing what wonderful companions the Greyhounds are.

Regan has earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from George Mason Univeristy and has been extremely active in the nonprofit field since 1996. He also has served on a national nonprofit Board both as a volunteer and Board member, and has been involved with several nonprofit focus and fundraising groups.

Micky Foreman
micky@gpa-nova.org
Micky has been involved with GPA-NoVA since she adopted her first greyhound, Jake, in 1999. Since 2000 she has served as co-chair of the Adoption Committee. She has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2001. In addition to volunteering for GPA-NoVA, she enjoys baking, reading and working on her house, which she shares with her two greyhounds and two cats. "I have so many dear friends that I have met as a result of adopting these wonderful dogs--I can honestly say that my greyhounds have changed my life!"

Board Members Emeritus

Kathe Fritz
kathe@gpa-nova.org
Kathe is one of the founding members of GPA-NoVA and we're very happy to have her still serving our cause.  In the 12 years since she first became involved with greyhound adoption, Kathe has been owned by 12 greyhounds, 3 cocker spaniels and 1 chinese crested.  When not devoting her time to GPA-NoVA, Kathe works at a veterinary clinic and shares her home and heart with 6 greyhounds, 1 chinese crested and, of course, her husband Paul.
